Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data. Last updated 6 June 2026.

1. Who we are

Rekindle ON (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Christian women's prayer movement based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data you provide through this website. Contact: admin@rekindleon.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data, name, email and password when you create an account.
  • Community data, the groups you join and any updates you post.
  • Prayer requests, the wording you choose to publish on the Prayer Wall.
  • Giving data, donation amount, mode and (where applicable) Gift Aid declaration. Card details are processed by Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • Newsletter, your email address and the source page if you sign up.
  • Technical data, basic logs, device type and anonymised analytics to keep the site working.

3. Why we use it (lawful bases)

  • Contract, to give you the account, portal and events you sign up for.
  • Consent, for newsletters, optional cookies and prayer requests you choose to publish.
  • Legal obligation, Gift Aid records, accounting, safeguarding.
  • Legitimate interests, keeping the site secure and improving how it works.

4. Sharing

We use a small number of trusted processors to run the site. Each one is bound by data-processing terms and UK-GDPR safeguards:

  • Lovable Cloud, database, authentication and hosting (EU region).
  • Stripe, donation processing.
  • Brushfire, conference ticketing (their privacy policy applies to ticket purchases).
  • Google, sign-in (if you choose Google sign-in).

We never sell your data. We never share your prayer requests or contact details with third parties for marketing.

5. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active. Donation and Gift Aid records are kept for 7 years to meet HMRC requirements. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email admin@rekindleon.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
