This page explains Rekindle ON's public safeguarding approach. It is not a substitute for the ministry's full internal safeguarding policy or formal risk procedures.

Safeguarding culture

Safeguarding is treated as part of ministry culture, not a box to tick after an event has been planned.

Care and dignity

People should be treated with dignity, compassion and appropriate boundaries across prayer, community, events and volunteer service.

Leadership responsibilities include developing safeguarding policies and training, supporting volunteers and promoting good governance.
